Navigational Aids project

Client: Australian Maritime Systems

Contract value: $1.4 million

Scope: 

• Gorgon Project - supply and fabricate navigational aid structures.

VDE’s responsibility:

• Supply and roll heavy plate for structure columns.
• Fabrication of all structures and ancillary equipment.
• Develop a Project Management Plan, Quality Plan compiled into comprehensive MDR which covered 100% material and weld traceablity.
• Organize regular client, supplier and 3^rd party meetings as required.
• Local transport of all structures to and from metro based paint yards.
• Final workshop assembly in preparation for installation on site.
